Official Rules and How to Play
Join our educational lottery to learn about real odds while having a chance to win real money!
Participating in the AntiGamble Free $100 Lottery is simple and completely free. Here's how to get started:
Participants must be old enough to gamble in their jurisdiction. By participating, you confirm that you meet the legal age requirements for gambling activities in your area.
This is a completely free lottery. Each Facebook account can enter each round of the game once. No purchase is necessary to participate.
Players enter by commenting on the appropriate Facebook post with up to 10 sets of numbers. You can only have numbers in one comment per round - multiple comments with numbers in a round will forfeit all entries for that participant.
Choose your numbers based on the lottery format being played in that round (PowerBall or MegaMillions). See the game formats section below for specific number requirements.
White ball numbers must be written in ascending order (smallest to largest). The final ball (PowerBall or Mega Ball) is separate and can be any value within its range.
Edited comments do not count. Comments must be top-line comments, not replies to other comments. Only one comment with numbers per round per Facebook account.
The drawing ends at the specified time announced in each round. No entries will be accepted after the deadline.
All entries must be posted at least 2 hours before the actual drawing time. Comments made within 2 hours of the drawing will not be counted, regardless of when the original deadline was announced.
After the drawing, the winner must contact AntiGamble through Facebook Messenger with a screenshot of their winning entry from the comments to claim their prize.
Facebook is not involved in the competition in any way. This is an independent lottery run by AntiGamble for educational purposes.
We offer two different lottery formats. The format for each round will be clearly announced in the Facebook post.
Select five numbers between 1 and 69 for the white balls, then select one number between 1 and 26 for the red PowerBall.
Format: 5 white ball numbers + 1 PowerBall number
Select five different numbers from 1 to 70 (the white balls) and one number from 1 to 24 (the gold Mega Ball).
Format: 5 white ball numbers + 1 Mega Ball number
Use our free lottery number generator to create 10 random entries for either PowerBall or MegaMillions format!
💰 Cost Comparison:
• Our Free Lottery: $0 (10 entries)
• Real PowerBall: $20 (10 tickets at $2 each)
• Real MegaMillions: $20 (10 tickets at $2 each)
There is only ONE prize per round. To win the $100 cash prize, you must match ALL numbers exactly using one of your 10 number sets. This means you need to match all 5 white ball numbers AND the PowerBall/Mega Ball number in the correct positions.
Example: If the winning numbers are 12 23 45 56 67 + 15, you must have exactly "12 23 45 56 67 + 15" as one of your 10 entries to win.
There is only ONE $100 cash prize per round. The prize is awarded to the first person who matches ALL numbers exactly. If no one matches all numbers exactly, no prize is awarded for that round. Prize distribution details will be provided to the winner after the drawing is complete.

This educational experience helps demonstrate why spending money on lotteries is not a sound financial strategy, while our free version lets you experience the same odds without any financial risk.
You might wonder how we can offer a $100 cash prize for free. The answer lies in the mathematics of lottery odds:
Our Investment: $100 set aside for potential payouts
The Reality: With odds of 1 in 292 million (PowerBall) or 1 in 302 million (MegaMillions), the probability of anyone winning is extremely low.
Why This Works: We're essentially betting that no one will match all 6 numbers exactly, which is mathematically very likely.
This demonstrates exactly how real lotteries operate - they collect millions in ticket sales while knowing the astronomical odds make large payouts extremely rare. Our version simply makes this economics transparent and educational.
If someone wins: We pay $100 and prove the lottery is fair and honest.
If no one wins (most likely): We keep our $100 and demonstrate why lotteries are mathematically unfavorable.
